Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fred Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Cao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cao comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "All I Do Is Win" by DJ Khaled kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jet Cao has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
Stone throws a half hearted mid kick.
Stone shoots in but Cao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cao is fending him off so far but Stone persists. Nope, Cao circles away and we're back to standing.

Cao throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.

Cao drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stone looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stone looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stone!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stone is working away from the top position though.
Stone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Stone is looking to pass Cao's guard but actually Cao recovers to full guard.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cao slips a jab and a cross from Stone.

and Cao moves into the clinch.
Stone is trying to break the clinch but Cao has him pressed against the cage.
Cao creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Stone's defenses.

Stone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cao pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stone is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Stone seems to have got his legs back now.
Fred Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stone shoots in and drives through. Cao sprawls well.
Cao slips a jab from Stone.

Cao drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Cao off! Cao jumps back into Stone's guard.

Cao thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Stone is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Stone holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Stone works his way to full guard. Good work.

Cao drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cao has Stone in his guard.
Stone won't allow Cao to sweep him here.
Stone makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Stone stands up over Cao, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stone passes Cao's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Stone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cao takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Stone's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
