The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aylor slips a jab and a cross from Didell.

Chuck Didell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Didell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aylor misses with a body shot.
Aylor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aylor throws a body punch but Didell moves out of range.
Aylor lands with a kick to the temple. Didell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Aylor scoring well with a low kick there.
Didell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Aylor thuds a left hand into Didell's body.
Didell cracks Aylor with an open hand slap.
Aylor moves away from the strike by Didell.
Aylor slips a jab and a cross from Didell.
Didell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Aylor counters with a straight right hand.
Didell throws a hook but Aylor blocks it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Aylor.

Didell moves into range and clinches up with Aylor.
Aylor tries a knee to the head but Didell blocks it.
Didell blocks an elbow strike.
Didell slows down the pace here.

Didell is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Aylor is defending well for now.

Didell lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Didell unloads a knee to the mid-section. Aylor lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Aylor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Aylor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Didell throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Aylor stumbling backwards into the cage! Aylor bounces back off the cage towards Didell, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Didell lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Didell celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chuck Didell! Chuck Didell retains his middleweight title!
