Escobar has chosen Boom - POD as his entrance music. Rocco Escobar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swaver shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Escobar defends it nicely.

It looks like Rocco Escobar has been cut.

Escobar is trying to drag Swaver to the mat but Swaver just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Swaver creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Swaver jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Escobar walks away with a smile on his face. Swaver gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Escobar counters with a shoot takedown. Swaver fights it but they end up in guard.

Escobar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Escobar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Swaver is looking to stand up but Escobar isn't so interested in that idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Swaver clinches but Escobar breaks the clinch
and Escobar counters with a nice body shot.

and Escobar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Swaver's guard now.

Swaver is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Escobar is controlling him.

and Escobar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Swaver throws a head kick that misses
and Escobar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Escobar clinches up against the cage.
Swaver pushes off an throws an elbow but Escobar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Swaver is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Swaver gets underhooks to prevent Escobar's takedown attempt.

Escobar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Escobar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Swaver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Escobar can't fight it off and eventually Swaver manages to take the fight to the floor. Escobar looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Swaver is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Escobar has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Swaver is looking to defend but Escobar has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Swaver! Escobar pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Swaver taps out and this one is all over!
