Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jax Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jax Briggs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jax Briggs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Evans!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Evans avoids the head kick by Briggs.

Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Evans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Evans is nestled in close to Briggs, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Briggs is staying active underneath Evans, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Evans is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Briggs has a hand on Evans's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Evans takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Briggs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Briggs tries to get out of the position.
Evans is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Briggs can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Evans lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
