Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Thane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Adam Thane has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adam Thane seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Thane with that takedown attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thane is on top in guard.
Thane distracts Thompson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Thane could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thompson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Thane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth.
