The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewandowski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Norris is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lewandowski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Norris's back instead.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lewandowski has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Norris has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Norris might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lewandowski kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lewandowski looking to break Norris's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Norris remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lewandowski will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
You can see the frustration on Norris's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
