Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mason Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes to the cage accompanied by Korn - Blind. Austin has chosen Six Million Dollar Man as his entrance music. Steve Austin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Austin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin stuffs the takedown.
Austin swinging wildly here.
Austin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
No joy there for Austin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Austin cracks a nice hook into Allen's ribs.

Austin throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.

Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Austin is just out of range.

Austin looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely.

No luck for Austin with that takedown attempt.
Allen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Allen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Austin.
Mason Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Austin.
Austin wants to clinch up but Allen keeps it at a distance.

Austin has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though.
