The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel scores a takedown into full mount!
Mays is trying desperately to improve position.
Mays holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Steel tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Steel avoids the attempt from Mays to control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Steel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Freddie Mays has been cut.
Steel scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Mays is rocked!

Freddie Mays's cut is getting worse.
Mays tries to reverse the position but Steel maintains control.
Oh Mays is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
You get the feeling that Mays really doesn't like being in this position too much.
BOOM! Steel connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Steel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Mays seems to have got his legs back now.

Mays is in all sorts of trouble here.

Mays tries to lock up and control but Steel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mays wants to hold on but Steel pushes him away.
