Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josefin Skott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Josefin Skott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike White!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

White scores a takedown into full mount!
Skott really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Skott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skott tries to get out of the position.

White looking to secure an arm triangle but Skott defends it well.

White wants to finish this one by submission but Skott is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from White.

White has hold of Skott's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Skott manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Skott sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

White is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Skott is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Skott wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike White dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Skott throws a series of punches but White avoids them all with ease.
White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from White.
Skott fails to land with a series of punches.
Skott closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Skott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Skott wants it to stay on the feet.
Josefin Skott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike White.
Skott closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Skott pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

No joy there for Skott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Skott is pressed up against the cage. White has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Skott down to the mat. Skott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Skott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
White is breathing heavily.

White drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. White seems to have locked his on tight now - Skott screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for White, as he picks up the win!
