The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tome misses with a looping left.
Tome throws a shot to the body.
Tome lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tome throws a hook but Bo blocks it.

Bo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tome sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bo somewhat.
Tome lands a nice hook to Bo's body. Bo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Marcos Tome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tome connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bo's hands.

Bo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tome rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tome.

Tome is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bo.
Tome lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tome swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bo.
Tome throws out a powerful jab.
Nice takedown defense from Tome. No joy for Bo on that attempt.
Bo moves forwards but Tome connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tome is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Tome lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tome scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Marcos Tome dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Horrible takedown by Bo or perhaps it was just good defense by Tome which made him look bad.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Bo might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
