Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gattsu Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knockyo Assout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes into the arena with Contender blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Assout's choice of entrance music: Mamma Said Knock You Out. Assout has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Gattsu Emelianenko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Knockyo Assout's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Emelianenko has control of Assout's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Assout regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Emelianenko jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Assout is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Assout and Emelianenko has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emelianenko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Assout tries to lock up and control but Emelianenko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Emelianenko goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
