Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Oakenhorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cus Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oakenhorse comes to the cage accompanied by TechnoViking - TechnoVikiing. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Oakenhorse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cus Jr!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oakenhorse bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Oakenhorse.

Oakenhorse tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Oakenhorse goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Oakenhorse but great work by Jr.
Oakenhorse is looking for a sweep.
Oakenhorse manages to get back to half guard.

Jr wants to stand up but Oakenhorse has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Jr is trying to control the action in half guard but Oakenhorse is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Oakenhorse is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Still in half guard, Jr seems content to control.
Oakenhorse is in trouble now - Jr has advanced to mount!
Oakenhorse tries to hold on but Jr pushes him away.
Oakenhorse is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oakenhorse is looking to improve his position but Jr isn't that keen on the idea.

Oakenhorse sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd cheers as Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Oakenhorse doesn't seem phased though.
Jr looks to land a left hand but Oakenhorse moved out of range nicely.

Oakenhorse closes the distance and clinches.
Oakenhorse goes for a takedown attempt but Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Oakenhorse is looking to clinch.
Nice uppercut lands for Jr. That snapped Oakenhorse's head back.
Jr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cus Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oakenhorse circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab lands there for Jr.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Oakenhorse.
Jr tries to bum rush Oakenhorse with a series of wild strikes but Oakenhorse uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jr has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Oakenhorse keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jr.
Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oakenhorse moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Oakenhorse moves into range and clinches up with Jr.
Oakenhorse lands a nice shot to the body.
Oakenhorse misses with a punch to the body.
Oakenhorse tries for a takedown but Jr manages to get underhooks.

Oakenhorse jumps guard but Jr stands there with Oakenhorse around his waist. Oakenhorse gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Oakenhorse. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A body shot lands from Oakenhorse.
Jr is trying to break the clinch but Oakenhorse is controlling him.

Jr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Oakenhorse digs a right hand into Jr's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jr's gas tank.
Jr tries to break free but Oakenhorse pushes him back against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Oakenhorse.
Jr wants to get back to striking at distance but Oakenhorse won't allow it.
Oakenhorse is working Jr over against the cage.
Jr is breathing heavily.

Oakenhorse tightens his grip and picks Jr up, before dumping him to the ground. Jr manages to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oakenhorse trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Oakenhorse postures up in Jr's guard and throws a big left but Jr blocks it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Oakenhorse keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jr.

Oakenhorse is looking to take a break and control but Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oakenhorse sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oakenhorse with the ground and pound but Jr uses the opportunity to regain guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Cus Jr will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Oakenhorse uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jr.
Jr takes a swing at Oakenhorse's ribcage but misses.

Oakenhorse drives through with a takedown into guard.
Oakenhorse won't allow Jr to get back to his feet.

Oakenhorse seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Oakenhorse has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oakenhorse trying to control the position from guard on top but Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oakenhorse advances position into side control!
Jr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Oakenhorse.
Jr is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Oakenhorse wants to control but Jr is keeping him busy.

Oakenhorse with the ground and pound but Jr regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Oakenhorse thows a huge punch but Jr dodges it nicely.
Oakenhorse is trying to control. Jr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jr gets back to full guard.

Oakenhorse drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Oakenhorse has Jr in his guard.

Oakenhorse trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Jr is looking to stand up but Oakenhorse won't let him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Oakenhorse tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Oakenhorse has his foot on Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jr works his way back into a safe position though.

Oakenhorse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jr would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Oakenhorse.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jr loads up on a big right hand but Oakenhorse slips the punch.

Oakenhorse clinches up against the cage.
Oakenhorse lands a right hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
Thor Oakenhorse showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Oakenhorse has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
