Vasquez has chosen Megadriver-Guile! as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Benito Vasquez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sasake tries for a takedown but Vasquez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vasquez throws a nice looking combination but Sasake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vasquez scores with a jab. Sasake acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sasake is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vasquez's half guard.

Sasake is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Vasquez manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Sasake seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vasquez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sasake has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vasquez defend it? Sasake steps over the head and cranks it - Vasquez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sasake!
