Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reyjin Del Amor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ransel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ransel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dirt Off Your Shoulder kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Ransel!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ransel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Del Amor napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Del Amor is trying to improve his position.
Del Amor manages to get back to half guard.
Ransel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Del Amor is looking to control Ransel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Del Amor avoid being mounted?

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ransel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ransel stands up over Del Amor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ransel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Del Amor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ransel has Del Amor in his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Del Amor tries to close the distance and clinch but Ransel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ransel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Del Amor was covering up waiting for the punch and Ransel finishes the takedown easily into guard.

James Ransel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ransel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
