Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Tamburello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Tamburello has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Tamburello seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamburello misses with a looping right.
Tamburello throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tamburello moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Eddie Brock has been cut.

Brock gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tamburello wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brock has him pressed against the cage.
Brock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tamburello is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tamburello has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Brock has Tamburello pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tamburello manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tamburello gets to his feet. Brock looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tamburello moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Brock darts in and clinches Tamburello up against the cage.
Brock goes for a takedown attempt but Tamburello pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tamburello throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brock feints and as Tamburello raises his hands in defense, Brock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tamburello on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tamburello tries to get out of the position.
Tamburello is trying to control Brock's posture but Brock avoids it.
Brock tries to score with some ground and pound. Tamburello controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Brock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Brock stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tamburello comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Brock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tamburello tries to avoid it but Brock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tamburello to the ground. Tamburello escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brock looks gassed!
Tamburello misses with a two punch combination.
Chris Tamburello seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brock shoots for a double leg takedown but Tamburello sprawls well. He's pushed Brock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tamburello's corner calls for a 1-2. Tamburello obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tamburello lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tamburello cracks Brock with an open hand slap.
Tamburello fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brock manages to avoid it.

Brock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tamburello is defending well for now.

Brock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tamburello walks away with a smile on his face. Brock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Chris Tamburello is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tamburello swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tamburello as he avoids it easily.
