Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Oleg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fred Stone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone stuns Oleg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oleg misses the body punch

and Stone counters with a takedown into side control.

Oleg sneaks out the side door and pushes Stone away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Stone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oleg avoids it really well and circles away.

Stone is looking to stand up but Oleg won't let him.

Oleg kicks Stone off and gets to his feet.

Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oleg's guard.

Oleg is looking to work some ground and pound but Stone has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oleg accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Oleg throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Oleg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stone throws the left hand but Oleg avoids the punch easily.
Stone throws a head kick that misses.
Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oleg but Oleg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stone lands with a nice combination. Oleg backs away looking to recover.
Stone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oleg's waist but Oleg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stone off to one side.

Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stone wants to get back to his feet but Oleg is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oleg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stone takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Oleg's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
