And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins shoots in but no luck this time.
Dawkins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Batts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dawkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Batts sprawls well. Batts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dawkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Batts throws a hook but Dawkins blocks it.
Batts clobbers Dawkins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Batts connects with a single shot there.
Dawkins shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Dawkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batts lands with a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Batts connects with a jab.

Dawkins is rocked!
Dawkins tries to clinch but Batts is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dawkins misses with an uppercut. Batts saw that one coming.
Batts scores with the left hand. Dawkins knows he should have avoided that one.
Dawkins takes one to the chin there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Batts, as that shot connected.
Oh Dawkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Batts scores with a jab. Dawkins acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Batts dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dawkins seems to have got his legs back now.
Dawkins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Batts finds it's way round the side to connect with Dawkins's head.

Batts cracks Dawkins with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Batts has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dawkins to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Batts cracks Dawkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Billy Batts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Batts throws a monster overhand right that drops Dawkins! Batts follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
