The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson shoots in but French avoids the takedown attempt easily.
French really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jameson shoots in looking for a takedown. French tries to sprawl out of it but Jameson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. French manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jameson has control of French's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and French regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
