Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, King Green!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutherland chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Green can pounce on him.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sutherland!


It looks like King Green has been cut.
Green throws a left and a right that both miss

and Sutherland counters by clinching up.
Green trying to stall but Sutherland improves his position.
Sutherland is trying to break free.

Green pulls guard.
Sutherland wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position.
Green wants to sweep here but Sutherland controlling him for the moment.
Sutherland has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sutherland has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Green is proving hard to escape from.

Sutherland postures up in Green's guard and throws a big left but Green blocks it.

Sutherland is looking to stand up but Green isn't so interested in that idea.
Green on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Green tries to get out of the position.
Sutherland is breathing heavily.
Sutherland is looking to stand back up but Green counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sutherland.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Green doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Sutherland counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Craig Sutherland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Green.

Sutherland stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Green to get to his feet.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sutherland as he jumps to the side.
Sutherland tries to clinch but Green is having none of it.
A bone on bone clash there as Sutherland blocks the leg kick.
Green closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sutherland circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sutherland sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sutherland is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Sutherland circles away and we're back to standing.
Sutherland fails to land with a series of punches.

Green clinches.

Sutherland escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green looks to clinch
and Sutherland counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sutherland rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Green moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Green counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sutherland!

Green has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Sutherland is defending well but eventually Green manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Sutherland has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
