Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wesley Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Connelly!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Connelly misses with a hook. Snow ducked under it nicely.
Connelly moves forwards but Snow connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Snow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

It looks like Wesley Snow has been cut.
Connelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snow circles away quickly and effectively.

Snow drives through with a takedown into guard.
Snow forces his way into half guard.
Connelly throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Connelly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Snow is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snow drops back looking for a leg! Connelly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Connelly manages to kick Snow off! Snow jumps back into Connelly's guard.

Snow takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Snow seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Connelly for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snow's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Snow is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
