Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Glass could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chuck Norris's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Steven Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Glass is looking to regain half guard here but Norris keeps moving and retains side control.

Norris decides to stand up, so the ref orders Glass to his feet.

Norris scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Glass tries to bench press Norris off him but Norris keeps the position.

Glass is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Glass had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Norris defends it easily.
Glass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Glass is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Norris is aware though and is defending well.

Glass escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Glass is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Chuck Norris dominated that round.
That's time! Glass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Norris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Glass is looking for a triangle here but Norris uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Norris remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

You can see the frustration on Glass's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

What can Glass do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Glass breaks Norris's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Norris is looking to stand up but Glass isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Glass thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Norris fails with the takedown.
Chuck Norris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Glass tries to clinch but Norris is having none of it.
Norris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Norris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Glass.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Norris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Norris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Glass drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Norris manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Glass has Norris in his guard.

Glass keeping moving, preventing Norris from controlling successfully.

Glass working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Norris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Norris manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Glass working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Norris has passed into half guard!
Steven Glass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chuck Norris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Norris decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Well Norris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
