Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Horrible takedown by Powers or perhaps it was just good defense by Marvin which made him look bad.

Marvin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marvin is putting a hurting on Powers here, landing some big shots from side control.
Marvin in side control lands a decent elbow.
Powers takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Marvin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marvin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Powers is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Marvin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Powers landing rabbit punches to the side of Marvin's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Powers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Powers misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Marvin slips a nice elbow through Powers's hands, connecting with Powers's forehead.
Powers wants to get back to full guard.
Powers moves into full guard.
Marvin wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.

Powers wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Marvin has taken Powers's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Powers has been forced to tap!
