Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carson McMurder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mad has chosen Move aside and let the man go through as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mad misses with a hook. McMurder ducked under it nicely.
McMurder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McMurder showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mad.
Mad shoots in looking for a takedown. McMurder tries to sprawl out of it but Mad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. McMurder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McMurder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McMurder wants it to stay on the feet.
Mad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mad thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McMurder moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
McMurder managing to control the position.

Mad advances position into side control!

McMurder is looking to reverse the position.
Mad thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McMurder seems to be working for a kimura but Mad defends the submission attempt.

Mad is looking to get back to is feet but McMurder passes into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McMurder goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mad rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McMurder's guard! Nice work there by Mad!
Mad is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Mad slips nicely into half guard.
Mad tries to pass to full mount but McMurder defends it.

Mad forces his way into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McMurder has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mad. Oh but McMurder has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Mad goes limp - he's gone! McMurder jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
