Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chester Kerlinko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Vantinnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Vantinnen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vantinnen stuffs the takedown.
Vantinnen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Chester Kerlinko has been cut.

Vantinnen moves into range and clinches up with Kerlinko.
Kerlinko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vantinnen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kerlinko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Vantinnen prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chester Kerlinko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vantinnen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kerlinko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vantinnen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Vantinnen fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Vantinnen tries to land a knee to the head but Kerlinko blocks with his arms.
Vantinnen misses with a punch on the inside.
Kerlinko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vantinnen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kerlinko blocks the elbow strike.
Kerlinko goes for a takedown attempt but Vantinnen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kerlinko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vantinnen to the mat! Vantinnen manages to get full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kerlinko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kerlinko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vantinnen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kerlinko advances position into side control!

Kerlinko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kerlinko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kerlinko swings around for an armbar but Vantinnen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kerlinko's guard.
Vantinnen wanted to stand there but Kerlinko had control of the position.

Kerlinko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kerlinko is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Vantinnen frees his head nicely. Oh but Kerlinko has switched to an armbar! Vantinnen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
