Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Pembelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Eriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pembelton comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary by Tupac. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Eriksen!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pembelton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Eriksen's half guard.

Pembelton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eriksen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Eriksen is trying to break the clinch but Pembelton is controlling him.

Pembelton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Eriksen. Pembelton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Eriksen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pembelton.
Eriksen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Eriksen just misses with a punch to the body.
Pembelton lands with a hook. Eriksen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Pembelton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eriksen to the mat! Eriksen manages to get full guard.
Pembelton postures up in Eriksen's guard and throws a big left but Eriksen blocks it.

Eriksen is refusing to be controlled, as Pembelton sits in half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Eriksen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pembelton manages to avoid it.
Marshall Eriksen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eriksen is looking to clinch.
Eriksen tries to clinch but Pembelton moves out of range.
Eriksen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eriksen wants it to stay on the feet.
Eriksen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pembelton was well out of range. Poor timing from Eriksen.
Eriksen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Eriksen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Eriksen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pembelton.
