The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Good work by Bryan as he checks the leg kick.
Bryan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bryan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lindstroem's guard.
Lindstroem can't keep his opponent in guard - Bryan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bryan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lindstroem looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lindstroem slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bryan lands a really nice looking cross but Lindstroem seems unphased.

Lindstroem tries to lock up and control but Bryan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Lindstroem has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lindstroem has his hands clasped together around Bryan's back. He's all about the action.
Bryan is looking to stall here but Lindstroem recovers full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lindstroem escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bryan trying to control but Lindstroem is working from the bottom.
Lindstroem not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lindstroem might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bryan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bryan works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Lindstroem tries to roll over but Bryan keeps him under control.
Bryan trying to mount his opponent but Lindstroem defends it.
Bryan prevents Lindstroem from improving his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bryan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lindstroem is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bryan has his hands clasped together but Lindstroem extends an breaks Bryan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lindstroem.
