The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell pushes Alvarez up against the cage in a clinch.
Mitchell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Alvarez.

Alvarez stalks Mitchell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mitchell's face. Mitchell staggers backwards, shaken.

Mitchell is rocked!
Alvarez throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mitchell stumbling backwards into the cage! Mitchell bounces back off the cage towards Alvarez, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Alvarez lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Alvarez celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
