Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yan Ti San (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). San comes to the cage accompanied by Brainfreeze (part 1) - DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist. Pain has chosen AC/DC - If you want Blood (You've got it) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yan Ti San!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dee Pain!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Pain lands.
San throws out a loose jab but Pain uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head kick misses from San.
San throws a leg kick which misses Pain's front leg but catches the back leg as Pain tries to avoid it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from San.
San checks a leg kick.
Yan Ti San seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
San misses with a kick to the body.
Pain avoids a punch combination nicely.
San defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pain.
Both fighters circling a little - San finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Pain misses with a leg kick
and Pain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pain misses with an uppercut. San saw that one coming.
San connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A left lands for Pain.

Pain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from San.
Pain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts San as he jumps to the side.
Yan Ti San has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dee Pain.
San tries a head kick but it misses.
San fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pain manages to avoid it.
San throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Pain looks gassed!
San throws a head kick but Pain moves out of range.
San scores with a leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
San lands with a good body shot.
Yan Ti San is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pain slips under a jab.
San misses with a body kick.
San with a body punch. A glancing blow.
San throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Pain defending well as San loads up on a big left hand.
San tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
San throws a head kick but Pain moves out of range.
Pain with a poor takedown
and San counters with a good low kick that Pain was not able to check.
San with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by San.
Pain steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from San. That one must have hurt.
Pain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A nice leg kick lands there from San.
Pain avoids the head kick by San.
Pain's corner calls for a 1-2. Pain obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
San throws a body kick that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
San misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pain shoots for a takedown but San saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
San misses with a low kick.
San digs a good hook to Pain's body.
Pain is trying desperately to land a takedown but San is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pain.
San throws a front kick aimed at Pain's knee but Pain avoids it well.

and Pain counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for San!
Pain controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pain avoids the attempt from San to control.
San on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if San tries to get out of the position.
San is desperately trying to improve his position but Pain has a good base and remains in mount.
Pain looking to finish San with some ground and pound. This is bad for San!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
San really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pain avoids the attempt from San to control.

Pain looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
San wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pain.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
San is looking to improve his position but Pain isn't that keen on the idea.
BOOM! Pain connects with a massive shot to the dome!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
San really wants to buck Pain off and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yan Ti San dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Pain closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sloppy strikes there by Pain.

Pain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, San has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pain but great work by San.

San has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Pain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with San but San pushes him off and we're back to square one.
San throws a head kick that misses.
Pain misses with a series of wild punches.
Pain cracks San with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
San throws a head kick that misses.
Pain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pain shoots for a double leg takedown but San sprawls well. He's pushed Pain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
San thows a leg kick but Pain checks it
and Pain counters with a stiff right hand.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as San checks a leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - San finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Pain checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Pain throws a jab when San was well out of range.
Pain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by San.
Pain moves out of range as San throws a body kick.
San throws a sloppy head kick

and Pain counters with a takedown into side control.
San tries to bench press Pain off him but Pain keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
San defending against the ground and pound.
Pain tries to score with some ground and pound. San controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
San regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed San's head.
San is trying to get back to full guard.
Pain lands strikes from half guard.
Pain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Pain is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
San wants to get back to full guard.
Pain passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for San!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
San wants to control but Pain is having none of it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pain cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pain lands a nice shot to the head.
Pain tries to control but San wriggling away.
San takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


San is rocked!
Pain looking to finish San with some ground and pound. This is bad for San!
Oh San is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pain tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
San takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Pain's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dee Pain!
