Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joachim Hansen !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Zing!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Zing paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hansen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hansen is looking to clinch but Zing is avoiding it.

Zing looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Hansen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zing is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Zing with a flurry of punches that miss.
Zing postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Zing working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Zing lands a couple of elbows.
Zing cracks Hansen with a solid left hand.
Zing throwing strikes from guard but Hansen blocks nicely.
Zing keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hansen 's head.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Zing sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hansen 's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zing winds up and cracks Hansen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Zing throwing shots but Hansen is blocking nicely.

Zing looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hansen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Zing thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hansen 's head.
Zing seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Zing throws a strike but Hansen manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Zing tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joachim Hansen !
