Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mirco Maledictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Barnett's choice of entrance music: 2 minutes to midnight. Mirco Maledictus looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett shoots in but no luck this time.
Maledictus lands a jab-cross combination.
Barnett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maledictus swivels and escapes.

Maledictus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Barnett to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Barnett slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Barnett working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Barnett tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barnett has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Barnett in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Maledictus is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
