The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Latura throws a hook but Marciano avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Marciano.

It looks like Kit Latura has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Latura. Marciano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Latura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marciano's waist but Marciano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Latura off to one side.

Latura bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marciano's head.

Latura pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Latura looks to land a right hand but Marciano moved out of range.

Latura bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Latura tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Marciano wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Latura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Latura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Marciano has cracked Latura with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Marciano lands another huge swinging hook and Latura tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Latura, before Marciano can land any more shots!
