Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero comes to the cage accompanied by Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Born To Win. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sub Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zero.
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Zero slips the punch.
The crowd cheers as Gracie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Zero doesn't seem phased though.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Zero saw that one coming.
Zero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Zero trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Gracie will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Zero slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Zero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zero is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zero has escaped and now he's on top!

Zero is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gracie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zero off and has taken his back!

That was a close round but I would say that Sub Zero will probably get the nod.

Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zero is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sub Zero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zero is working away from the top position though.

Zero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Zero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Zero moves into full mount! Gracie won't be happy about that!

Zero just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That's time! Zero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
