Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kain's entrance music is Irresponsible Hate Anthem. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kain misses with a takedown attempt - Lambert sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A left and a right from Lambert both land. Nice combination.
Lambert throws a nice looking combination but Kain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kain tries to pull guard but Lambert won't allow it.
Lambert digs a right hand underneath Kain's ribcage. Kain let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kain jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kain has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kain wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lambert is pressed up against the cage. Kain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lambert down to the mat. Lambert avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lambert pinned against the cage. Lambert gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lambert throws a good cross that connects.
Lambert's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lambert duly obliges.
Lambert misses with an uppercut.
Kain misses with a takedown attempt - Lambert sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lambert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kain takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Kain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lambert as he avoids it easily.

Kain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lambert.
Lambert throws a sloppy head kick

and Kain counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Lambert is trying to break the clinch but Kain has him pressed against the cage.
Lambert wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kain has him pressed against the cage.

Lambert decides to pull guard.
Kain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lambert wants to control the position but Kain says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Kain seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lambert can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lambert tries to kick Kain off but Kain keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A head kick from Kain lands but Lambert takes it in his stride.
Kain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lambert falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kain counters with a body kick that stops Lambert in his tracks momentarily.

Lambert wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lambert is trying to break the clinch but Kain is controlling him.

Kain gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kain throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kain passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lambert!
Kain looking to control but Lambert is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kain wants to take his opponent's back but Lambert doesn't allow it.
Lambert has given up his back. Will we see Kain going for some submissions?

Kain is working for a rear naked choke. Lambert is not defending it well and Kain has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lambert refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lambert's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
