The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
English throws a looping overhand right but Fecchinni ducks down to avoid it.
A big left from English misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from English. Fecchinni does a little dance to reset his feet.
English misses with a low kick.
Fecchinni is on the wrong end of a nice combination from English.

It looks like Salvatore Fecchinni has been cut.
Fecchinni throws a right hand that English ducks under and follows up with a left that English also avoids with ease.
English lands a jab to the nose.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fecchinni closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fecchinni has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Johnny English seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
English tries to land a front kick but Fecchinni steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
