Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akifumi Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato has chosen ''A Passage In Time'' by Authority Zero as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akifumi Sato!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshi avoids the head kick by Sato.
A combination from Sato does no damage.
Sato swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoshi.

Hoshi has closed the distance and engaged Sato in a clinch.

Sato wants to get back to striking at distance but Hoshi won't allow it.

Hoshi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoshi has managed to get both his arms back between Sato's legs - danger averted.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hoshi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sato keeps the fight on the outside.
Sato throws a leg kick but Hoshi sees it coming and moves out of range.
Sato tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoshi swivels and escapes.
Hoshi tries to clinch up but Sato circles away and keeps his distance.

Sato shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hoshi but Hoshi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sato pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sato shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoshi sprawls well. Hoshi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sato gets slowly back to his feet.

Hoshi rushes Sato and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Hoshi drops Sato with a big knee straight up the middle! Sato is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Sato is rocked!

Hoshi has Sato up against the ropes in a clinch.
Sato is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoshi finish him?
Hoshi throws an elbow but it misses.
Sato is breathing heavily.
Hoshi has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Sato - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Hoshi, and another! Sato is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Ryu Hoshi!
