Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chance Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jail Bait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp comes to the cage accompanied by Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bait throws a series of punches but Knapp moves out of range.
Knapp lands with a cross.
Knapp lands a glancing blow to the side of Bait's head.
Knapp misses with an uppercut.
Knapp misses with a hook. Bait ducked under it nicely.
Knapp throws a series of strikes that have Bait backpedaling.

It looks like Jail Bait has been cut.
Knapp throws a lazy right hand but Bait sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Knapp lands with an overhand left.
Knapp lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheers as Knapp lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bait doesn't seem phased though.

Knapp feints and as Bait raises his hands in defense, Knapp changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Knapp wants to stand but Bait has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bait is working an open guard so Knapp takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Knapp lands a really nice looking cross but Bait seems unphased.
Knapp throws a jab but it's blocked by Bait.
Knapp throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Knapp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Knapp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Knapp goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bait turns into him and now he's in Knapp's guard.
Knapp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bait on the ground.

Knapp is pulling down on Bait's head. It's preventing any offense from Bait, at least for the moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Knapp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bait doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bait manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Knapp lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Knapp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bait.

Knapp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Knapp is looking to stand up but Bait won't let him.
Knapp keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bait's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Knapp wants to control but Bait is keeping him busy.
