The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nupikka dives in and grabs Cosme's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cosme pushes down on Nupikka's head and hops out.
Nupikka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cosme as he avoids it easily.
Terppa Nupikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cosme shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nupikka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nupikka could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nupikka has his foot on Cosme's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cosme works his way back into a safe position though.

Nupikka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cosme defends it easily.
Nupikka wants to sweep here but Cosme controlling him for the moment.

Cosme is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nupikka is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nupikka has escaped and now he's on top!
