Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tuomas Uusierkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Charuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uusierkki comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy) . Charuto has chosen Sergio Mendes - Joga Bontio as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charuto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uusierkki is defended easily by Charuto.
Charuto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uusierkki was well out of range. Poor timing from Charuto.
Charuto has his takedown stuffed
and Uusierkki counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Charuto is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uusierkki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Charuto's waist but Charuto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uusierkki off to one side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
