Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Murdoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murdoch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is bone cracker. Walker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Ecstacy of Gold. Matt Walker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Murdoch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Murdoch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Walker tries to buck Murdoch off but he can't manage it.

Walker's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Walker seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Murdoch cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Murdoch lands a heavy elbow.
Murdoch is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Murdoch is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Walker is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Walker flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Murdoch anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Walker and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Murdoch slips an arm under Walker chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Murdoch has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Murdoch is squeezing on Walker like an anaconda would it's prey. Walker fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
