Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Larsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Tylor!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tylor looks to score with a jab to the body but Larsen is just out of range.
Tylor closes the distance and clinches up with Larsen, looking for a takedown. Tylor pushes Larsen against the cage but Larsen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Tylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Larsen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Larsen is refusing to be controlled, as Tylor sits in half guard.

Tylor is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Tylor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Larsen is not content to let Tylor control the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Larsen gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Tylor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tylor lands in his opponent's guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jake Tylor just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Larsen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tylor sprawls well initially but Larsen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Tylor tries to kick Larsen off but Larsen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Larsen is looking to advance position but Tylor won't allow it.
Larsen is thwarting Tylor's attempts to control the position.
Larsen stops Tylor from getting back to his feet.
Tylor tries to roll over but Larsen keeps him under control.
Tylor is not content to let Larsen control the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alexander Larsen will probably get the nod.

and Larsen counters with a takedown into side control.
Tylor can't do much from the bottom here.
Larsen takes a little break here. Tylor wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Larsen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tylor keeps working.

Tylor wants to control but Larsen postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Larsen trying to control the action but Tylor is working from the bottom.
Tylor tries to bench press Larsen off him but Larsen keeps the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Tylor moves into the clinch.
Larsen goes for a takedown attempt but Tylor pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tylor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Larsen won't allow Tylor to pass to mount.

Tylor stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Larsen is desperately trying to improve his position but Tylor has a good base and remains in mount.

Larsen wants to try and get back to his feet.
Larsen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Tylor tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tylor avoids the attempt from Larsen to control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tylor cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that's the end of the fight!
Jake Tylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tylor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
