The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cargabe is fending him off so far but Nogueira persists. Nope, Cargabe circles away and we're back to standing.
Nogueira slips a jab and a cross from Cargabe.

Nogueira shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nogueira showed some decent athleticism there.
Cargabe won't allow Nogueira to pass to mount.
Nogueira is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Nogueira looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Nogueira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nogueira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cargabe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nogueira.

Nogueira has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cargabe defend it? Nogueira steps over the head and cranks it - Cargabe is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nogueira!
