The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calaway tries to clinch there but Kilke circles away.
Nice defenses there by Calaway.
Kilke misses with a straight left.
Calaway throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Lyle Kilke has been cut.

Calaway clinches up with Kilke and pushes him back against the cage.

Calaway tries a body shot but Kilke blocks it.

Kilke is trying to force a seperation but Calaway has the dominant position.
Calaway keeps control of Kilke as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kilke wants to break the clinch but can't.
Calaway misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kilke tries to break free but Calaway pushes him back against the cage.
Calaway misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kilke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Calaway takes the fight into the clinch.

Calaway breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kilke throws a series of punches but Calaway moves out of range.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Calaway takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Calaway throws a head punch that misses.
Calaway keeps control of Kilke as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Calaway swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Calaway scores with a nice hook to the head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Calaway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nice combo by Calaway! Oh, that's hurt him - Kilke falls to the canvas and Calaway follows him into side control.

Lyle Kilke's cut is getting worse.

Calaway creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kilke sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
