The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merenhor looks to land a left hand but Sullivan moved out of range nicely.
Sullivan blocks a jab.
Merenhor thows a left - swing and a miss!

Sullivan closes the distance and clinches.
Merenhor wants to break free but Sullivan has control.
Merenhor can't break the clinch.
Merenhor tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sullivan smiles and moves away.

Merenhor gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Merenhor controls Sullivan momentarily but Sullivan frees himself.
Sullivan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
