Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ra Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robson Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Racionais MC's - Homem na Estrada. Ra Maya has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Souza.
Souza looks to land a right hand but Maya moved out of range.

Maya gets the takedown into side control.
Maya wants to stand but Souza has his arm trapped.

Maya tries for a kimura but Souza is defending well.
Maya tries to move to mount but Souza blocks the move with his legs.
Maya wants to stand but Souza has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Souza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maya manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Souza has Maya in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maya decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Maya is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Souza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maya is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Souza is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Souza has escaped and now he's on top!

Maya bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Souza's guard.

Maya is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Souza can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ra Maya showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maya, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
