Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Solitaire Unraveling. Hammer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nine Inch Nails - Wish kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox throws the left hand but Hammer avoids the punch easily.
Nice shot lands for Cox.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cox napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cox tries to bench press Hammer off him but Hammer keeps the position.
Hammer looks up at the clock and then as Cox takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hammer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sloppy strikes there by Hammer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer in side control, throwing shots but Cox defends.
Hammer tries to move to mount but Cox blocks the move with his legs.
Hammer wants to control but Cox is keeping him busy.

Hammer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hammer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cox ducks under a wild hook from Hammer.
Hammer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hammer throws a hook to the side of Cox's head but Cox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cox avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Hammer shoots for a double leg takedown but Cox sprawls well. He's pushed Hammer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jack Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cox lands an overhand right.
It looks like Jack Hammer has been cut.

Cox scores with a jab to the body.
Hammer looks gassed!
Hammer misses with a straight right.
Cox moves out of range as Hammer strikes.
Cox cracks Hammer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cox throws a hook but Hammer blocks it.
Cox is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammer.

Hammer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cox sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hammer blocks a low kick nicely.
Hammer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cox's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammer connects with a jab.
Hammer throws a lazy right hand but Cox sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cox lands a nice shot that snaps Hammer's head back.
Hammer blocks a jab.
A big left from Cox misses.
Cox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammer gets the takedown into side control.
Cox is trying to control Hammer's posture but Hammer avoids it.
Cox tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Hammer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack Hammer's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hammer was well out of range. Poor timing from Cox.
Hammer misses with a body shot
and Cox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cox throws a body punch but Hammer moves out of range.
Hammer throws a hook but Cox blocks it.
Hammer swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cox sizes up Hammer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hammer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That has opened up Jack Hammer's cut even more.
Cox ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cox throws a big shot that misses.
Cox lands a left and a right that sends Hammer crashing to the canvas! Cox dives into mount looking to finish!
Hammer is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cox postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hammer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hammer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Perry Cox!
