PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Beathoven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gob Darkfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beathoven has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beathoven could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Despite being in the dominant position, Gob Darkfist just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Darkfist tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Beathoven is able to avoid easily.

Darkfist uses his free foot to push down on Beathoven's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Beathoven.

Darkfist lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Beathoven that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Darkfist working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Beathoven turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Darkfist off and cradles Beathoven's limp body as Darkfist celebrates with his corner.
