The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowness tries to bum rush Cabreros with a series of wild strikes but Cabreros uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bowness stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cabreros.

Bowness shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cabreros pinned against the cage. Cabreros gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nino Cabreros.
Well Cabreros has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
