The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laforce fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Laforce defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Laforce saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Smith drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smith jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Smith is stalling in the full guard.
