The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monsignor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Greatest to the mat! Greatest manages to get full guard.

Greatest looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Monsignor passes into half guard.
Monsignor wants to free his trapped foot but Greatest is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Monsignor stalling.
Monsignor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Monsignor stops Greatest from getting back to his feet.
Monsignor content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Monsignor trying to control from half guard but Greatest is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Monsignor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Monsignor takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Monsignor prevents Greatest from standing back up.
Monsignor uses his free foot to push down on Greatest's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Greatest.
Monsignor trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Greatest wants to hold on but Monsignor pushes him away.

Greatest tries to buck Monsignor off but Monsignor takes his back!
