Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Super Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Money Floyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floyd has chosen Better Believe It as his entrance music. Super Jim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Money Floyd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jim misses with a series of wild punches.
Jim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Floyd avoids a punch combination nicely.
Floyd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jim.
Jim looks to land a combination but Floyd avoids it well.
Jim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jim has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Super Jim has been cut.
Jim throws a left and a right that both miss
and Floyd counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Super Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Floyd lands a left and a right that send Jim crashing to the mat, dazed. Floyd thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

No joy there for Floyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Floyd closes the distance and pushes Jim back into the cage.

Floyd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Floyd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jim crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Floyd - the referee stops the clock and Jim gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Floyd. Jim manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jim drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jim throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Floyd counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Super Jim's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Floyd throws a combination. Jim tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oh Jim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Floyd lands a big head kick that sends Jim tumbling to the mat! Floyd takes a step backwards and waves Jim back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Floyd in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
